Books for Hope 2008

Help us reach our goal of helping every student in the School of Hope get the books they need to begin the school year with the tools they need. Just $30 per student will cover the cost of school books for the entire year. Goal for the Books for Hope is $33,000. A little over $8,800 has been raised so we are behind in our goal but with your help we can make it!

(Mission of Hope is a 501(c)3 organization)

The recent Hurricanes that hit Haiti left orphanages—including Good Samaritan—destroyed. There are more than 2,000 people homeless in the town of Cabaret alone with over 500 people dead and many more expected to be found. The disaster is profound.

Mission of Hope is responding to this urgent need with immediate supplies. Trucks with food and water have arrived in Cabaret. Six helicopters have been sent to Gonaives in North Haiti with food, water, and basic supplies.

We are providing temporary housing for 100 Children and Staff from Good Samaritan Orphanage at the Mission of Hope, but resources are running low. The time to act is now!
